So I finally got all of the pictures from Africa collected and uploaded….it took forever! But it’s worth the wait. There’s a subpage for Africa if you hover over the menu bar where it says “Brenna’s Blog”.
Since we’ve been back, it’s mostly been school work. We spent 3 days out on the bog and by the ocean last week, but all of them were a bit wet and cold. We are in our last module now, and when it’s over this Friday, my sister Kelly will be arriving for a 10-day visit! We’ll be heading all around Ireland, but I’m mostly excited just to see her. Once she heads back, it will just be me and my thesis until September, where I’ll be working on constructing plant-pollinator interaction networks.
I’ve also attached some pictures below of my most recent creation. The BioCon class decided to have a fancy dinner party 2 weeks ago, and I brought crustless cucumber and pork loin sandwiches with a garlic cream cheese filling that were a hit. My friend Eilis had her birthday on Friday past, and asked me to bring more delicious sandwiches, but this time with chicken, and to surprise her. Bit of a tall order, but surprise her I did. Have a look for yourself:
